Chambers Donna Sral Dear Friends, Blessings to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! May you receive the deepest revelation of His love for you. NOTHING "... shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."(Romans 8:39) If we would focus our hearts on that one thing we would truy be filled with "... joy unspeakable and full of glory." (1 Peter 1:8) Are you going through a rough time? Remember that Jesus loves you so much, no matter what your situation may look like. He has promised to never leave us or forsake us. "... in Thy presence is fullness of joy..." (Ps. 16:11) How do we come into His presence? " Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him and bless His name." An attitude of gratitude is the way we should approach the Lord. The He will "inhabit the praises of His people." (Ps. 22:3) Let us truly be thankful and rejoice in the God of our salvation! Mission Update The Israeli govrnment has just passed a new law concerning the amount of time a visiter can spend in Israel on a regular passport. They have put a 90-day limit per year on every individual with this type of visa. Unfortunately, the leader of the Nov. '07 mission work trip (Susan Heagy) has exceeded her time allowed in Israel for this year according to the new law. But, praise the Lord we found out about this new law before we purchased the tickets. The money raised for my participation on that trip, will be held until I go later. My time to go on the mission trip to Israel, will now be March 25th - April 5th 2008. We will be visiting Holocaust Survivors, and bringing these elderly people much needed humanitarian aid. We will also be training a group of volunteers concerning the different aspects of Desert Hope international's outreach in Israel. If you are interested in being part of this "volunteer training trip" to Israel March '08, please contact me (see above) ASAP and I will send you more information. Upcoming Events November 7 Wed. at 1:00PM on 720AM radio "The Rock" Marianna will be interviewing a special guest, Pastor Jermy Fuller, who has a prison ministry. (there are a number of prisoners listening to "Rejoice with Marianna" on a regular basis, and writing to us.) November 14 Wed. 6:30PM Volunteer work on Thanksgiving Basket project (labeling and inserting Bibles), at Capital Area Christian Church 1775 Lambs Gap Rd. Mechanicsburg, Pa 17050. Marianna will be teaching a lesson that evening following the completion of the project. Want to help? Call (717) 732-1882 for directions. The church still needs help on delivery day, Sat. Nov. 17th! November 15 Wed. 6:45PM - 8:30PM Marianna will be speaking for a special Desert Hope International seminar with president and founder, Susan Heagy; at the Bridges at Bent Creek Assisted Living Center located on 2100 Bent Creek Blvd. Mechanicsburg, Pa. 17050. Admisson is FREE! Topics will include an overview of DHI ministry, along with updates and details concerning the Holocaust Survivors. Many volunteer opportunities will be presented.
